Singer-songwriter Nancy Northrup has been greatly influenced through the years by her country/gospel/folk roots in Kentucky and Tennessee. Her music touches the heart and soul with stories of love, hope despair and rebirth.  Whether Nancy is weaving a story of love lost, or embracing the resiliency of the human spirit, she does so with passion and heart-felt desire.

Nancy has two CD's "Slack In The Chain" and "Only Time Will Tell" recorded by Doug Dawson, recording engineer for Emmylou Harris, Nanci Griffith, Ray LaMontangue to name a few....

Nancy's most recent CD is a dream come true for Nancy.  It was produced by the legendary , John Beland, who has worked with the best ie. Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Waylon Jennings, Ricky Nelson, Neil Diamond and the list goes on. Beland has also recently written a biography entitled "Best Seat in the House", recalling his over 50 years in the music business.   The title of Nancy's new CD "Higher Mountain" is inspired by the title cut written by Rodney Crowell.  The album is a collection of original songs and classic's.  It is a must to add to your  music collection.
